  Let's take a guess at why the Datsun faired so poorly in the test.  Ken
Miles raced MGs for years and the opening line in the Datsun write up says;
"The Datsun, being a Japanese product, is the odd man out in this test."  It
goes on to say that all Japanese cars are really of British descendants.
Get the feeling that the deck was stacked before the test started?!
