I will be adding some pics of my stereo install as soon as I have it
finished. I made a console for the Pioneer single CD/AM/FM head unit,
have a pair of 150 watt Kenwood 3-way 6x9's and a Coustic amp mounted on
an MDF panel behind the seats, and will soon be adding some 1 inch
tweeters and 4 inch mids to the lower front edge of the new door panels.
There's a single 6 inch Bazooka bass tube behind the seat as well, but
I'm looking for a second one to balance things out. With just the 6x9's
and the Bazooka tube the truck really rocks. Can't wait to hear it once
completed! Oh...the amp is rated at 125 watts total at 4 ohms...but with
the speakers wired in parallel it will drop the ohm rating to approx.
.5, and will produce over 500 watts total power. Great for listening to
those big band, jazz, and blues CD's I enjoy! Stay tuned for more stereo
updates.
