Yeah, that green 3M stuff works great, I've been using it for 15 years or
so.
Question: how do I get to the Wendell swap meet? I'd probably go up 91 to
route 2 but where from there?

Thanks for all the suggestions on re-doing the letters.  I think I will try
the decals first, the
cost is minimal and my painting skills might not be up to par.  On another
note, my bodyworking
skills are improving and after a lot of filling and sanding, the uneven dash
is looking pretty good.
I discovered a nifty spot putty made by 3M that is easy to work with, dries
fast (10 minutes) and
sands out to a glass finish.  It's an aqua-colored putty in a tube and works
great for filling the
tiny pits and scratches.  Even my wife was impressed, and she's the all-time
"picker of nits".  I've
been deliquent in updating my web site pics, so maybe I can get a few more
up this week.
