I actually have the book you've suggested, and it is a great reference.  But
now I'm looking for this other one.

How about "How to Restore Your Chevrolet Pickup"  by Tom Brownlee?   I
have found this to be a great help.  You can get it at Barnes & Noble
online or order from Chevy Duty.
