I just thought I would put my 2 cents worth in here. I have been keeping up with
this rotospit thing via some back issues of grass....sports and I must say that
this is no CobJob conversion. In fact I gave up on my idea of converting my GT6
to rotary power when I read how involved it was. He did not just stick a mazda
motor in a spitfire, he completly reengineered an RX7 drivetrain to fit a spit.
It may offend some purists, but, if yer gonna do it, do it right! The RX7 was
not as pretty as the Spitfire and the spitfire was not as fast as the RX7. Can't
we all just get along? neither one of the cars is still in production, so let's
call it match made in heaven.
