Hi ,

The drain plug can be reached from underneath if you jack the front of the
car (on jackstands of course).  It helps to have small hands.  My
girlfriend was nice enough to do it for me on one occasion.  I find it
easiest to slide in from the driver's (left) side even though the plug is
on the 
passenger (right) side.  It isn't real easy but it can be done.
