Dan,
Points all well taken!  And while I too use VB as a source of last resort, the 
fact that they print out a fine catalog and set a
pricing standard that others end to use as a basis to offer lower prices make 
them valuable and a resource that I wouldn't want to
lose.  The more vendors we have as sources of parts the better our chances of 
finding the parts we need at the prices that we want to
pay.
