One option is to simply sew the seat back together!
While not the most exciting prospect in the world, it
can be done quite easily, with the investment of only
an hour or two of your time. I was cleaning my seats
last year and decided to try and sew the seams which
had split, and they now look a million times better.
I think I used fishing line - hope it lasts!
