Hi everyone. I'm back on the list again after over a year away. I'm looking for
some help with my newly installed Weber DGV.

The engine runs like @$%#% but I'm working on that. I suspect a leaking intake
manifold. The engine won't run with the throttle lever on the idle stop, even
when all the way in. And it seems to be very lean. I will also check the idle
circuit.

I have the jets etc. set up according to Paul Tegler's suggestion. The carb has
been totally stripped and cleaned.
The engine and exhaust are stock 1500. No air pump.
Everything was working well with the stock carb before the change.

But that is not my biggest concern right now. When I close the hood (bonnet),
the top of the air cleaner hits the hood. The air cleaner is stock Weber, about
1 7/8 inches high. Either there has to be a shorter filter assembly or the carb
has to come off.

What is your experiences with this installation?
