Try the bounce test - bounce the corner of the car about 2-3", if it takes
more than 2 cycles to stop bouncing, the shock is worn.  Most Konis
are adjustable for wear, but need to be removed.  I believe that you push
the rod end all the way into the tube end, and rotate it until it catches a
"lock".  Then you can turn the rod end to adjust the damping rate.
