I am with you on this - I have an idea that the setup will work fine - no
idea why it shouldn't - but since nobody seems to use it.... Maybe I should
contact that guy at Good Parts (or whatever it was - I have it somewhere),
and ask if he could give me/us some references to people who have actually
done it. To me it just seems like a lot cheaper alternative than going to
triple Webers (and even double Weber-setup), since the extra carb can be had
for next to nothing, and the new manifold is 'only' around $300 (wonder if
that includes the linkage as well? - and should one add a rear or a front
carb?).

There GOTTA be somebody out on this huge list that has seen such a setup in
'real-life',
