There is a source for such spacers:
Neil Revington 
at Revington TR
He is a sponsor of the Temple of Triumph trivia quiz and all around nice guy 
who happens to be very expert in TRS especially rally+race.  (At least 
certainly seems to be from my few conversations with him).  Sells a spacer for 
TRs so that you can run wires on Disc wheel cars WO changing studs and so you 
can easily change them.

Since he makes them in fairly large lots it is probably a reasonable cost.  
Unless you are a machinist, know one....

Tell him I sent you. (I would just like him to know that all that time he has 
spent on th phone with me is not a loss)
