Drifting farther off topic...
        I saw an article a few weeks back in one of the
local papers, which said that GM will provide an (optional ?)
night vision system in the 2000 model cadilacs.
        The technology is there and not really that expensive
(I've seen east european night vision goggles advertised for
around $500 in the survivalist mags). 
        So if you don't want to spoil your car with non original
bright lights you now have a choice ;-)
        Blue tint halogens are just silly.
