As for the stop cock I installed a brass marine fuel ball valve, look really
cool. 90deg turn and the fuel is cut off. And right by the gas tank, under
the car, there is a shutoff valve leading into an inline filter. Very easy
to change the filter shut off the fuel and replace the filter before
anything gets to the fuel pump.
