I put bullit type mirrors on the wings of my Vintage racing bugeye, about
over the tyres, and couldn't see much of anything from them, especially the
"off side" (right hand, since my car is left hand drive) one. Then I glued
convex mirrors on both of them and now they are good for checking no one is
immediately passing me. Can't see very far back though, so I use the centre
mirror for checking whats behind at any distance over a few feet. Works ok
for racing use at least.
