I do remember that all my various Volvo 140 series (four of them, none with  
power steering) were fairly easy to park. But then, so's the Herald. OK,  
steering effort is a bit high at rest, but that has a lot to do with the severe 
 
wheel angles at full lock, I suppose.... ;-)
