Pulled the rear axles out of my 68 2000 SU to replace the wheel brgs etc. Went to pull the bearing collar off but couldn't get it to budge. Used a clam shell type puller, but even with heat, it would

I'm putting the axles back in after replacing the bearings, etc. and have a couple of things I need to clarify. 1) The spacers inside the inner seal have a bevel on one side. Does this go in or out?

I also had this problem. My 68 2000 is registered as a 69, but is actually a 68. Seems it was sold in 69, so they figured it was that model year. I got personal plates saying 69 2000 before Les at C

Installed the axles and buttoned everything up last night. Got done about 11PM, went out for a test run. The wheels didn't fall off and I was able to stop at the bottom of the hill. Back in business!
