You have touched on a subject I find of interest. It seems that a lot of LBC owners really have a thing against Miata's. I've never understood that. Would you, or anyone else for that matter, care t

Part of the dues of being an LBC driver is keeping a 20+ year old car on the road. When you drive a new car that requires little or no work it is paramount to jumping in line. Dave == This list suppo

I don't really have anything against Miata's or any other modern sports car. I even have an Audi TT 225 Quattro Roadster myself in the garage. But I do have an interesting story that may shed some li

I had a 1996 Miata years ago, and thoroughly loved the car -- perfect 50/50 weight distribution, punchy dual-overhead cam engine, great short-throw transmission. At the same time, as an LBC guy, I di

I don't have anything against them either. But, I think this line says it all. I don't believe you'll have as big a following for Miatas 30 years down the road as you do for the Triumphs. Funny, I'v

One of the general complaints seems to be that the average Miata convertible owner never puts the top down, because the air conditioning doesn't work nearly as well that way. :) Cheers. -- Michael D.

I never had a Miata but did buy a new MINI in 2003. What I quickly realized is that, unlike any new car, our old cars seem to have a soul. We admire their quirks, and treat them better than our daily
