I'm at a decision point for the wheels on my recently acquired TR6 and thought some of you that have been through this might be able to provide some advice. I came up with three options. Option 1 --

The old steel rims may or may not be in a condition to straighten. If there is obvious damage or if you believe a wheel has been repaired I would advise against using the old wheels for anything but

Thanks to all who replied to my question about tyres, it may have helped me defer the expense. Since the dry-rotted tyres were red-lines, perhaps the tubes were not due to bad steel wheels. I'll take
