Hi Kevin:

Glad to see your numbers. Everybody thinks I'm fluffing mine. Jealousy,
nothing but jealousy! ;^)

Don't forget these consumer gauges are a trifle inaccurate at best. I
switched to an electric because I lost one too many plastic capillary lines
and hosed myself in the eyes once while driving. It can happen, it jsut
takes an extremely unlikely series of events. After that I swore off
mechanical readers.

   Hi Stephen,
    I've got about 6,000 miles on a rebuilt '76 TR6. No fancy
modifications, but .040 over bore, new oil pump, pistons, crank and
camshaft, 2 new liners, all bearings, and rebuilt head. Pretty much the
usual.
   Oil pressure readings are:
   Cold idle 90 PSI
   Hot idle 30-40 PSI
   Cruise 75 PSI
I run Castrol 20/50 year-round up here in New England.
Have fun,
