I can't help you there I'm afraid. I have one Gemini block: in the Gemini, 
and one Alpine block: in the Alpine. I can eyeball the engine mounts in 
situ.

If it is such a simple swap, I'm surprised no one in Oz has done it as there 
are Jap import engines everywhere here. That basic motor is available in 
many specs, eg twin cam, turbo.

Maybe if 'Rusty' the Gemini dies soon I can pull the motor for an autopsy! 
Hmmm, given the autopsy horror stories over here at the moment, I'd better 
notify the relatives first ;-)
