I have met some of those folks. We have several in KC that have 6 digit
combined incomes and have no kids leaching off of their time and money. We
call them autocross Gods!!!!

Loren,
You just described all 900+ autocrossers that competed at nationals this year.
I haven't met anyone that is competing at the national level of
autocrossing that doesn't have limited vacation, a family that doesn't live
for autocrossing, and a limited budget.
