A clarification is in order. MiDiv conducts four Divisional Championship
Events. One of these events is designated as "The Midwest Divisional
Championship Event" and generally is conducted in August because of
tradition.
MiDiv conducted a Divisional Championship Event years before "The National
Championships" were conceived.
Through evolution, the one event Championship has become four events to better
serve Midwest competitors. Therefore to keep with tradition MiDiv provides a
stand alone Divisional Championship Event along with a Divisional Series
Championship. All four events are Divisional Championship events.
