Derek,

It could be the pads. My big, ol' 3500-pound 635 has done 1:50 with
carbon-kevlar pads all around. 

'Course there was the day last November that I toasted a set of stock
pads faster than you can say "Laguna Seca" (but didn't boil the fluid).
;^)

I've since put the car on a diet, and am anxious to see how we could do
now....
