In this situation, IMHO, installing the limited slip at this stage was the
wrong way to go. If it worked at all it was merely a band-aid for the
problem. The problem is that a wheel was coming off the gound and was no
longer a driving force. All a limited slip at this stage would do is merely
make sure the wheel that was no longer in contact with the ground would
spin at the same rate as the wheel that was in contact. I.e. just one wheel
was driving the vehicle forward.
        Therefore, the first goal is to keep both wheels on the ground so
BOTH are driving the vehicle forward. One way to do this is to adjust the
weight balance, usually by adjusting the shock diagonal from where the rear
wheel is lifting. 
        After that, install a limited slip but you really won't need it.
