Your are aware, of course that in Northern California there are fewer Mom
and Pop gas stations today than there were, say, 10 years ago.
Also an acquaintance of mine who works for Shell tells me their goal is to
reduce the number of stations. Having heard that, on our trip to Topeka
last September we discovered a number of Union 76 stations were soon to
convert to Shell.
