I've found British Parts to have the cheapest prices of any store
out there. British Victoria prices I have compared with my needs
were over double of what Greg at British Parts wants for his stuff.
The phone number to call is 503-864-2001. I just now talked to him
a few minutes ago and found his full rebuild kit for the 1500 Spitfire
at $432. This is a hundred dollars down from his last quote but it
is going to go up $100 next month. The kit comes complete with almost
every movable part on the engine. This includes the big boys such as
the crank shaft, cam shaft, pistons, rings, oil pump, valves, etc. etc.
The partial rebuild kit has everything except the cam and the crank shafts
and this is priced at $251. Add $100 next month.
Other stuff includes Weber Downdraft 32/36 with mainfold at $273.
Downdraft 38/38 at $338. Single and Dual Sidedraft for $332. I think
these are excellant prices and all these parts are new. The only things
that he sells rebuilt are stuffs like the crank shaft and the cam shaft.
These you can't find new anyway.
