Hi,

The "railing" that you refer to is also called a "bumper over-rider" (sp?).
This was a factory available option, my '74 TR6 had them from the get-go. If
I recall, I had a Clymer TR6 manual that had a picture of a TR6 with over-
riders on the cover. When we first got our car, I thought they made it look
too "heavy", but I'm starting to like them. In fact I just got the rear re-
chromed because I got tired of explaining to folks why there were holes in the
bumpers! I still have to get the front back on, but that'll be there prior to
my trip to the VTR. It is an unusual option, however. I have only seen a
handfull of TR6's with the over-riders.

As for the rectangular "lights" under the rear set of lights; is it possible
that they are reflectors and not lights? I have seen reflectors on some
early TR6's in the past.

regards,
rml

p.s. I don't need another TR6 at this time. At least I don't think I need one...
