Calspeed:

I have been playing with various Datsuns in Canada since about 1967. All
the 67.5 cars in Canada that I have seen, which isn't very many, have
had solex carbs, finned oil pan, 150hp tag etc. All 1968 cars that I
have seen in Canada have had solex carbs, finned pan, 150hp tag, 160mph
speedo. In 1969, most if not all cars in Canada, came with SUs, however
solex carbs, finned oil pan etc were a dealer installed option which is
the way mine was delivered to the original owner.(My car now has next
generation of solex carbs). There was no smog equipment on any of these
cars, however by law I believe the '69s in Ontario should have had air
pumps.
