I did not clearly identify the body number.  However, now that you mention
it, I do remember seeing what I believe was the VIN or engine block number
stamped on the front driver's side frame as well.  Larry.

I believe all the 68-70 cars came with finned brake drums.  What was
that other number - was it different than the VIN?  I remember that my
RL411 was stamped on the firewall, but it was a unibody car so couldn't
very well be stamped on the frame.  I remember reading that the
Roadster bodies were essentially replaceable items since there were no
serialized marks.
