I'm hinting to SWMBO that I really need a Lempert Wheel for Christmas. I'm 
not worried so much about kickback or steering effort, but am looking 
forward to a wheel with a large enough grip diameter to keep my hands from 
cramping after a few hundred miles. I guess the Brits of that era had more 
delicate digits.
