Whether this helps or not I don't know, but the factory V8 rad inlet is top
left (facing forwards) and the outlet (0i.e. pump inlet) is bottom right i.e
diagonally opposite.  Wouldn't a cross-flow rad of the correct dimensions
and suitable mountings work with the existing plumbing?
