I have read with interest the comments surrounding everyone's projection
of the future and fossil powered vehicles. What made the comments more
interesting was the program I just watched on A&E. It was called
Conspiracies. (I know, they're everywhere). One part of it concerned a
gentleman's inability to get an invention patented. He felt that it was
the oil industry that was blocking him. It even went as far as the White
House (Reagan era). If that's the case, we don't have anything to worry
about. The oil people have control of the country and we'll drive our
cars till the oil runs out.

As far as Gore goes, if you believe the part about the Mafia controlling
the outcome of the 1960 election (that was on the show too), "they"
(whoever they are) will place whomever they want in the White House. My
solution, just enjoy the cars and quit worrying about 2022. ;^)
Just remember, it was best said by Dr. Johnny Fever of WKRP in
Cincinatti, "Everybody's out to get you, paranoia's just good thinking".
