Pine was giving me a hard time, so I didn't include the original
post as quote, but...

I agree that we should ignore people that are "snobby" at these
shows, but to me, it reflects badly on both the show and the
clubs that sponsor the show. I mean, if they want people to
be active and get new people to join their organizations, they
shouldn't ignore everybody that doesn't drive a T series, or at
least the ones that look like they can't "afford" the prestige.

In my post, I did mention that I met quite a few great people
at the shows, and that is the part I carry with me, trying to
ignore the bad experiences. But when I walk up to somebody
and say "Is this your car?" and they snap "NO!" and then turn
around and start talking to somebody else so you can't have
a chance to say anything more, it tends to put a damper on things.
I am the first to ignore stupid (or snobby or whatever descriptor
applies) people, but sometimes things get out of hand. I only
brought this up because I saw Robert had a similar experience.

That's the great thing about this list...nobody can see anybody,
so it's a level playing field. I could be 3 or 123 and it wouldn't
make a difference. Oh well, just my .02

adrian
looking forward to a weekend of engine reassembly...maybe!
(either that or house hunting)
