Phil,
All oil companies here (Holland) phased out leaded petrol last year. It was
replaced by a product with lead-like properties, and it's sold at every filling
station. I was a bit apprehensive at first but after contacts with Shell and MG
specialists I put it in the B, and I have not noticed any difference at all.
You
could ask the oil companies why they don't introduce this stuff in the UK while
they did do that in other countries.
And to the US listers: please stop making me sick with gas-prices. Here
standard unleaded goes for US$4 per US gallon, and there are four huge
refineries just 10 miles from here.
