Dave. One of two things.  Most likely is a caliper piston sticking. Drive a 
bit without braking and then jump out and place your hand on the brake.  The 
hot one is where the trouble is.  The other possibility is that a hose has 
collapsed internally creating a one way valve and keeping the brake applied.  
If you open the bleed screw on a caliper and get a spurt of fluid then you 
have a pressure build up.  Otherwise it is a sticking piston.  Remove the 
caliper and use the brake pedal to force the piston out,  The piston will be 
very hard to remove once you disconnect the hydraulics from it.
