Iteresting that this thread should come up now...
There is an article in this months Practical Classics devoted to the use of
Superchargers on older engines, including the those for triumph...
they even gave a web site of someone who specialises in this sort of
thing...
I can get it if anyone is interested...
Anyhow the main points seem to be that superchargers give a healthy increase
in performance ( up to 60% increase) which occurs throughout the rev
range...
They gave information on a number of setups including Roots and Shorrock
style superchargers..
It was also noted that they are easier to install than turbos!
