Having been in two serious car accidents, (both tin top cars) one with
conventional seat belts, the other with a full harness I would recommend a
full harness IF your spridget also has a roll bar.
As far as whether or not the cars came with seat belts I was led to believe
that all the cars had mounting points but seat belts, like wire wheels etc
were an optional extra.
