At the risk of doing exactly what I find so distracting to the list, let me
chime in here:

Yeah I agree.

Not to rock the boat, but the double posts from the general list to the mod
list, just isn't working. Plus this has got to be a ton of work for Mark.

I don't mind alot of the banter, some of which is quite amusing and
informative, like that recent thread about Pomes down under.

However, if I were king of this list these would be my two rules:

1. No politics - Some of us are incurable Eastern liberals. We actually think
that the second amendment did intend to grant the undeniable right to own
military weapons, and shoot out of the trunk of crappy made in the USA cars.
But this need not be discussed here. If you don't like one
ethinic/immigrant/welfare group or another, that is your right. Just shut up
about it. Oh yeah, saying it is good fun does not make it acceptable either.

2. Add something of value - I would like to say you know who you are, but I
am not so sure about that. What the heck is the purpose of answering almost
every e-mail with a "Yeah right" If I want to have a boring a conversation, I
can do that in the comfort of my home.
