That takes a bit of asking around. I have a 3.8 Buick, some are interference,
some are not. As of now, I still don't know if mine is or isn't one of the
interference variety. Several mechanics have told me that they don't THINK it 
is,
but even they are not certain. I have not taken it to a dealer, they will be 
even
less help I am sure. I found this out when Texas enacted the IM laws for a while
on older cars. I took the GTO to the Pontiac dealer and requested a vacuum
routing diagram. To this day, I still don't have one, and the inspection 
stations
can't touch me. I challenge them to find the diagram, then I inform them that
even the dealer does not have this information. I get my sticker, but very
begrudingly.
