Malcolm,
Installing tubes will obviate any problem with air leakage in the rims.
However, it will also negate the speed rating of the tire; i.e., don't drive
fast because of the additional heat from the friction between tube and tire.
On the other hand, it will add sidewall stiffness that may improve handling
at the expense of ride comfort.
