Running tubes in tubeless tires is common practice in the E-type world, as
most of their wires require tubes. The generally accepted wisdom is to
downgrade the speed rating by one due to the effect that Dr. Bob describes.
Remember those cars ran 150mph on bias plys 40 years ago. Modern tires
ought to be able to handle it, but I would just be a bit more careful...

Installing tubes will obviate any problem with air leakage in the rims.
However, it will also negate the speed rating of the tire; i.e., don't drive
fast because of the additional heat from the friction between tube and tire.
On the other hand, it will add sidewall stiffness that may improve handling
at the expense of ride comfort.
