I have never seen a filter like you describe. If you have the Ford
part number for that filter please post it to the list. A picture would be
great if you have that capability.

I Have a Ford Motorsport Filter that rather than having a set angle there
are serrated teeth all the way around the 2 parts of the filter where the
angle is and lets you set the angle that you want. Haven't put it on yet but
hope it works.
