I mounted Yokohama A509's on my '78 Spitfire, they are a bit lower
profile and pretty much the max
on width for the stock steel rims ( stamped 4.5 " ). Size is 185/60 13"
. They ride very smooth and in my case stick very well for
autocrossing the car. Only 50 bucks per tire from TireRack ( www.
tirerack.com, no endorsement, though they are quick and friendly ).
