The direct induction of ATF in the carb is used to blast out carbon
deposits from valves and cylinder, pistons and heads. This is referred
to as the "quick" valve job. Sometime the ATF is mixed in a 16 oz. soda
bottle with water (equal parts), the water helps loosen up the carbon.
You will be amazed at the amount of carbon that will blow out the tail
pipe of a heavily carboned up car, and the results are immediate.

You must also make sure that the engine is up to normal operating temp.
before attempting this, or you will foul you plugs.
