Edelbrock makes a "performer" intake manifold that takes a Holley 4 bbl. 
It fits the TR8 quite nicely with out any hood modifications.  Those who I
have talked to who have made this mod say it "really wakes up the engine". 
Offy makes single and dual 2 bbl manifolds for those wishing to go this
route.
