Although it would be nice for the Triumph name to stay in England, it may be
more likely that we could see a new TR under BMW. I've read rumblings about
BMW coming up with an everyman's car line, a step below the average BMW
fair. Wasn't that what the Rover purchase was all about?  Wouldn't Triumph
be perfect? BMW loves the inline 6, rear wheel drive and a sporty appeal.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a modernized TR6, a little wider, a little
rounder, to compete with the Miata. Bring back the Saloon range again based
on the current BMW mechanicals, to compete with the Jetta, Accord et al.
