Kinda Funny story there, coming to mind... When I had my WWII Willys MB
jeep, occasionally, I used to take it to a local 4WD area(not a legal one,
but one none the less) One time, while tooling around in my fully restored
to original, and highly period jeep, I slid into one of the mud bogs, and
got firmly stuck. The three of four CJ drivers that were nearby swung over,
and proceeded to pull me and my jeep (complete strangers to them) out of the
"sippee hole" and onto more firm ground. Extreme care was given not to get
too much mud kicked up...We spent a few minutes chatting Jeeps, and then
went on our ways. A little while later, one of their group, who had shown up
that day in his Chevrolet S-10 4WD got stuck in the same spot. Well, all of
his buddies lined up abreast, and they hooked his chevy up. Then, they
proceeded to coat the whole truck with intentional mud flinging! I seem to
remember it getting to be around a foot deep on the windshield before they
pulled him out. They told him that was for " not driving a JEEP!" :)

Almost as funny as the story about how I learned to fly in a WWII Willys
Jeep.
