Although not said; but implied. The car is still in the family....

Keep it. 5 years from now you will be kicking yourself. BTDT and still
trying to catch up.

Time 1967, Sunday, late Spring. Place Fort Totten, Queens, New York.
Spotted this afternoon on the Cross Island Parkway a white TR4 with man
driving, woman in passenger seat and two toddlers in the back. All wearing
lap belts. Also on board was an Irish setter. The setter sat with her rear

haunches on the shelf behind the seats and her head between the driver and
passenger. This was so the driver could stroke her head upon shifting into
4th gear.

Prior to the time when they were toddlers each of the young ones rode in a
baby "bucket" which fit nicely across the shelf behind the seats. Belted,
of
course ( the "bucket.")

Only when the third child arrived (1972) did we get a VW camper. SHMBO said

"enough is enough with this TR4." So it became the second car. BTW- the
children in question are now in their late 20's/early 30's and had no
injuries from the TR4, which they then called the "RRumph."

Or you might go for a Triumph Stag or even a Herald. Cheers.
