I have a little keypad operated starter cutoff. Yes yes, I know that one can
pop the bonnet and simply jump the starter, but thieves want something they
can grab in 30 seconds. The sight of my little keypad (mounted on the
shifter console by the driver's right knee) means "unknown situation". They
go elsewhere.

Lastly, why anyone would put a theft alarm on a Triumph, especially
an open top car, is completely and utterly beyond comprehension.

Percy, it is not a theft alarm I spoke of, it is a anti theft cutoff for my
electric fuel pump, hot wire my T/R and the fuel pump will not operate so
you will not drive away without fuel, not a alarm. "FT"
